H07 (Internal fault (power stage))
Lenze · 9300 Series
What does 0107 mean?
During the controller's initialization phase, an incorrect power stage was detected. This implies a critical internal hardware mismatch or failure within the power electronics.
Common Causes
- Incorrect or incompatible power module installed in a modular drive system.
- Failure of internal power stage components (e.g., IGBTs, rectifiers) detected during self-test.
- Disconnection or poor contact between the control board and the power board.
- Internal sensor fault on the power stage (e.g., current sensor, voltage sensor) preventing correct identification.
- Manufacturing defect or significant physical damage to the power stage assembly.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Perform a complete power cycle to the drive by disconnecting mains power for at least 60 seconds to allow all internal capacitors to discharge.
- 2
If the drive is modular, physically inspect the power module for proper seating and connection to the control unit.
- 3
Verify the drive's model number and series to ensure the correct power module (if replaceable) is installed for the control unit.
- 4
Visually inspect the power stage for signs of damage, such as burnt components, bulging capacitors, or discolored PCBs.
- 5
Measure the resistance of the motor phases (U, V, W) to ground and between phases with a megohmmeter (e.g., 500VDC) to rule out motor or cable insulation breakdown affecting power stage.
