Communication option fault
Mitsubishi Electric · FR E700
What does E.OP1 mean?
This communication option fault stops the inverter output due to a communication line error during CC-Link operation. It can be caused by physical cable issues, incorrect lengths, or improper termination. This disruption prevents control and monitoring via the CC-Link network.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Check the inverter's LED display for any fault indications and apply corresponding countermeasures as per the manual.
- 2
Inspect the CC-Link dedicated cable for breaks, damage, or improper connections.
- 3
Verify that the CC-Link dedicated cables between stations are within their specified length limits (refer to the CC-Link master module manual).
- 4
Ensure the built-in terminating resistor of the end station is turned ON, or that the one-touch connector plug with a terminating resistor is securely attached.
