E112
Unit Address Conflict (Factory Setting) / Auto Address Not Possible
Mitsubishi Electric · FR-D700 Inverter
What does E112 mean?
One or more units (indoor or outdoor) are still addressed at 48 or 49 (factory setting). This prevents auto-addressing, which is only possible on a single KX2 system, if one or more units (either indoor or outdoor) are not set at 49.
Common Causes
- Unit address is set to a factory default value that conflicts with other units.
- Automatic address assignment failed due to network congestion or interference.
- Conflicting unit addresses detected on the system.
- Master controller unable to assign a unique address.
- Address setting switch (DIP switch) incorrectly configured.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the address settings of all indoor and outdoor units.
- 2
Ensure that for auto-addressing on a single KX2 system, all units are initially set to address 49.
