E.PUE

PU disconnection

Mitsubishi · D700 Inverter

What does E.PUE mean?

This fault indicates a loss of communication between the inverter and the Parameter Unit (PU) or another device via RS-485. This can be due to a disconnected cable, incorrect communication settings (Pr. 75, Pr. 121, Pr. 122), or excessive consecutive communication errors. Loss of communication will stop inverter output, potentially halting the connected process.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Ensure the parameter unit cable is securely connected to the inverter's PU connector.

  2. 2

Verify the communication settings, specifically Pr. 75 (PU detection), Pr. 121 (number of retries), and Pr. 122 (communication check time interval), ensuring they are correctly configured for your setup.

  3. 3

Check the RS-485 communication wiring, data integrity, and ensure the inverter's communication parameters match those of the connected computer or PLC.

  4. 4

If communication breaks frequently, increase the Pr. 122 (PU communication check time interval) value or set it to '9999' to disable the communication check if appropriate for the application.
