Stall prevention STP
Mitsubishi · FR-E800 Variable Frequency Drive
What does E.OLT mean?
The inverter output is shut off if stall prevention operation causes the output frequency to drop to 0.5 Hz for 3 seconds, or if torque limit operation causes frequency to drop to Pr.865 and output torque exceeds Pr.874 for 3 seconds in speed control. This protective fault indicates severe motor overload or an issue with stall prevention settings.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Reduce the mechanical load on the motor.
- 2
Check the motor for signs of overload, such as excessive current or temperature.
- 3
Verify and adjust parameters Pr.22 (stall prevention operation level), Pr.865 (low speed detection), and Pr.874 (OLT level setting).
- 4
If performing a test operation without a motor, select the PM sensorless vector control test operation.
- 5
Address any active stall prevention warnings (OLC for overcurrent, OLV for overvoltage).
