E2

Insufficient Arm Cuff Inflation / Measurement Interference

Omron · BP760N Blood Pressure Monitor

What does E2 mean?

The 'E2' error indicates that the arm cuff was not inflated sufficiently to obtain a reading, often triggered by movement during the measurement or an underlying issue with inflation. This typically means the device couldn't achieve the necessary pressure within the cuff. If this fault persists, it will prevent accurate blood pressure measurements.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

If the 'E2' error appears repeatedly, inflate the arm cuff manually until it reaches a pressure 30 to 40 mmHg above your previous measurement result.

  2. 4

Consult section 3.3 for comprehensive guidance on proper measurement techniques and conditions.
