E50-E59

Drive Programming User Trip (0 to 9)

Omron · MX2 Inverter

What does E50-E59 mean?

These faults are generic user-defined trip codes triggered by specific conditions programmed within the Drive Programming application (E50 corresponds to user trip 0, E51 to user trip 1, etc.). They allow technicians to implement custom safety or operational interlocks, causing the inverter to trip and display a user-defined error code when those conditions are met.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Reset the inverter (Stop/Reset key or RS input) after resolving the condition that triggered the user trip.

  2. 4

If the trip is unexpected, review the Drive Programming logic to ensure the user trip conditions are correctly implemented and do not conflict with normal operation.

  3. 5

Temporarily disable the user trip condition in the program for testing if necessary, but re-enable it for safe operation.
