406

LOW LINE ALARM

Otis · DSD 412 DC Elevator Drive

What does 406 mean?

The input AC line voltage sagged more than 10% below the nominal line voltage as set at parameter #9. This does not shut down the drive but is an indication that work is needed to avoid future F904 Low Line faults.

Common Causes

  • Input AC line voltage sagged more than 10% below nominal.
  • Nominal line voltage (parameter #9) set incorrectly for the supply.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the input AC line voltage.

  2. 2

Check and correct the setting of parameter #9 (nominal line voltage).

  3. 3

Investigate the AC power supply for voltage sags or instability.
