What does aborted by ENTER mean?

The Door Check Sequence (DCS) was intentionally terminated by the user pressing the ENTER key on the GAA21750AK3 service tool. This is a user-initiated action and not an equipment malfunction, but it prevents the completion of the safety sequence for the OTIS 2000 Controllers MCS120/MCS220.
