What does Door Closing Err mean?

During the Door Check Sequence (DCS), the elevator door failed to close correctly or completely at the specified level. This error indicates an issue with the door closing mechanism, preventing the completion of the DCS and normal elevator operation for the OTIS 2000 Controllers MCS120/MCS220.
