What does IF2 mean?

An internal fault related to the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) card has been detected. This could be due to the HMI card not being recognized, being incompatible, or the display not being present.

   Inspect the HMI display module for proper seating and secure physical connection to the Altivar 312 drive.

   Examine the HMI module's electrical contacts and the drive's corresponding receptacle for any signs of damage, bent pins, or foreign debris.

   Perform a controlled power cycle of the Altivar 312 drive, allowing sufficient time for the HMI to re-initialize upon startup.
