F030
Undervoltage
Schindler · Easy Altivar ATV310 Drive
What does F030 mean?
The Undervoltage fault occurs when the line supply voltage to the drive is too low or experiences a transient dip. This can lead to unstable drive operation or shutdown to protect internal components.
Common Causes
- Input line supply voltage is below the specified operating range for the drive.
- A transient voltage dip occurred on the power supply line.
- Loose or corroded power connections to the drive's input terminals.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check the incoming line supply voltage at the drive's input terminals and compare it to the drive's nominal voltage.
- 2
Inspect all power connections to the drive for proper termination and tightness.
- 3
Review the Undervoltage menu (607-) parameters (page 106), especially Undervoltage detected fault management (607.0) and Undervoltage prevention (607.1), to ensure appropriate settings for the application.
- 4
Monitor the line voltage for transient dips using a power quality analyzer.
