SLF3
Remote Terminal Communication Interruption
Schneider Electric · Altivar Machine ATV320 Variable Speed Drive
What does SLF3 mean?
An interruption in communication with the remote terminal (HMI). This means the drive has lost its connection to its human-machine interface, preventing local control, status monitoring, or parameter adjustments from the HMI. The drive may still operate if controlled externally.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Check the communication cable connecting the remote terminal to the drive for damage or loose connections.
- 2
Verify the remote terminal is powered on and functioning correctly.
- 3
Ensure communication parameters (e.g., address, baud rate) are consistent between the drive and the terminal.
- 4
Re-seat the remote terminal or its connection module securely.
