OLF

MOTOR OVERLOAD

Schneider Electric · ATV32HD11N4 Variable Speed Drive

What does OLF mean?

This fault is triggered by an excessive motor current or an incorrect [Cold stator resist.] (rSC) parameter value. If the motor is continuously overloaded or the thermal protection settings are wrong, it can lead to motor damage due to overheating. Prompt resolution is crucial to prevent premature motor failure.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Check the [Mot. therm. current] (ItH) setting (page 33) for motor thermal protection, and verify the motor's actual load. Ensure the motor is not mechanically overloaded.

  2. 2

Wait for the drive to cool down before attempting a restart; do not bypass thermal protection.

  3. 3

Remeasure the [Cold stator resist.] (rSC) parameter (page 42) to ensure accuracy if this parameter is manually set and suspected to be incorrect.
