F58

FET2 Over Temperature Shutdown

Schneider Electric · XW Pro NA Operation Guide

What does F58 mean?

This Automatic Fault occurs when the internal temperature of FET2 exceeds 105 °C, triggering a shutdown to protect the inverter's power components. The fault clears automatically when the temperature drops to 75 °C, similar to F57.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Check for high input AC voltage while charging.

  2. 2

Remove excessive loads if operating inverting.

  3. 3

Let inverter cool down and try restarting if ambient temperature is high.

  4. 4

Hold a piece of paper to inverter vents to check the fan; if failed, have inverter serviced.

  5. 5

Increase clearance around the inverter or unclog the fan air intake.
