15
24 V supply error
SEW Eurodrive · Drives
What does 15 mean?
The 24 VDC supply voltage, which powers the MOVIMOT drive's control electronics, is faulty or missing. This is a critical voltage for the internal logic and communication.
Common Causes
- Missing 24 VDC supply voltage
- Unstable or out-of-tolerance 24 VDC supply voltage
- Faulty external 24 VDC power supply
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Measure the 24 VDC supply voltage at the MOVIMOT drive's input terminals (e.g., X10 terminals 1 and 2) and compare against the nominal value.
- 2
Verify the operational status and output voltage of the external 24 VDC power supply unit (PSU).
- 3
Inspect the 24 VDC supply cabling from the PSU to the MOVIMOT drive for loose connections, damage, or insulation faults.
- 4
Check for any external loads or devices connected to the 24 VDC circuit that might be causing an overload or short circuit condition.
