Reference travel fault

SEW Eurodrive · MOVIDRIVE compact System

What does 39 mean?

An issue occurred during the reference travel (homing) procedure, such as a missing or non-switching reference cam, incorrectly connected limit switches, or a change in reference travel type during the process. This results in an immediate disconnection, preventing proper homing and position control.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Check the reference cam for presence and proper switching functionality as the motor passes over it.

  2. 2

Verify the limit switch connections for correctness and ensure they are not swapped or miswired.

  3. 3

Ensure the reference travel type setting and required parameters are correctly configured and not changed during an active reference travel cycle.
