F11
Overtemperature
SEW Eurodrive · MOVITRAC 07B System
What does F11 mean?
A stop with inhibit indicates thermal overload of the inverter. If a braking resistor is integrated in the heat sink, this could exacerbate the issue by generating additional heat.
Common Causes
- Thermal overload of inverter
- Braking resistor integrated in heat sink contributing to heat buildup
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Reduce the load on the inverter to decrease thermal stress
- 2
Ensure adequate cooling by checking ambient conditions and ventilation clearances around the unit
- 3
If a braking resistor is integrated in the heat sink, consider installing it externally to reduce thermal load on the inverter
