F35
Ex-e protection operating mode
SEW Eurodrive · MOVITRAC 07B System
What does F35 mean?
An invalid operating mode was selected for Ex-e protection, or the Ex-e motor was not correctly integrated into the system. This fault triggers an immediate switch-off with inhibit, indicating a potential safety or operational violation for explosion-protected motors.
Common Causes
- Operating mode selected that is not permitted for Ex-e protection (e.g., Flying start function, DC braking, Group operation)
- Use of a parameter set other than parameter set 1 with Ex-e protection
- Ex-e motor not properly commissioned or recognized by the system
- Incorrect parameterization of frequency points (P561, P563, P565) where Frequency A is not < Frequency B, or B is not < Frequency C
- Incorrect parameterization of current limits (P562, P564, P566) where Current limit A is not < Current limit B, or B is not < Current limit C
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Ensure parameter set 1 is active for Ex-e operation.
- 2
Verify the Ex-e motor has been correctly taken into operation and configured.
- 3
Check parameters P561, P563, P565 to ensure Frequency A < Frequency B and Frequency B < Frequency C.
- 4
Check parameters P562, P564, P566 to ensure Current limit A < Current limit B and Current limit B < Current limit C.
