F01655

SI: Acceptance test required

Siemens · SINUMERIK 828D CNC Control

What does F01655 mean?

The drive-based 'Safety Integrated' function in the Control Unit requires an acceptance test. This can be due to missing safety parameters for the Motor Module, checksum mismatches on the CU or MM, differing safety function enables, parameter changes, project downloads, hardware-related safety checksum changes, or subsequent safety-related faults during booting. This fault results in a STOP A that can be acknowledged.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Perform the safety commissioning routine if safety parameters are missing (fault value 130), or if checksum issues (fault value 1000, 2020) are indicated; consider replacing the CompactFlash card if checksum errors persist after retrying.

  2. 2

For checksum mismatches on the Control Unit (2000) or Motor Module (2001), verify and correct the safety parameter settings, then adapt the reference checksums (p9799 for CU, p9899 for MM).

  3. 3

Ensure consistent enablement of safety-related functions (p9601 = p9801) and Safe Brake Control (p9602 = p9802) between the Control Unit and Motor Module.

  4. 4

For safety parameter changes, project downloads, hardware modifications, or safety checksum changes (fault values 2003, 2004, 2005, 3003, 3005), carry out a full acceptance test as described in the SINAMICS Safety Integrated documentation and generate an acceptance report.

  5. 5

If fault value 9999 is indicated, diagnose any other underlying safety-related faults that were present during the system booting process.
