Stuck Key Error (Adv. Code 0)
Vacon · X4 AC Drive
What does 29 mean?
This fault is triggered if the drive detects a persistent key press during power-up. This can be caused by a faulty keypad button or a user inadvertently holding a key down while powering on the drive. This prevents proper initialization and operation via the keypad.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Ensure no keys are being held down on the keypad during the drive's power-up sequence.
- 2
Inspect the keypad for any physically stuck, damaged, or unresponsive buttons. Gently try to unstick any depressed keys.
- 3
If the keypad appears defective, try replacing it with a known good keypad unit.
- 4
If the issue persists after inspection and replacement, consult the factory for further assistance as there may be an internal issue with the control board.
