Uv3
Undervoltage 3 (Soft-Charge Bypass Circuit Fault)
Yaskawa · J1000 AC Drive
What does Uv3 mean?
The soft-charge bypass circuit has failed, typically due to a damaged relay or contactor within this circuit. This failure can prevent proper charging of the DC bus, leading to the drive being unable to start or operate correctly.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Cycle power to the drive. If the fault reoccurs, inspect and replace the relay or contactor on the soft-charge bypass circuit.
- 2
Check monitor U4-06 for the performance life of the soft-charge bypass. If it exceeds 90%, replace either the control board or the entire drive; contact Yaskawa for replacement instructions.
