What does CPF08 mean?

A serial communication fault occurred during data exchange with the EEPROM memory. This prevents reliable parameter storage and retrieval, potentially causing incorrect drive settings.

   Clear the CPF08 fault code from the Yaskawa P1000 AC Drive's keypad or via connected HMI/SCADA system, then attempt to reset the drive.

   Perform a complete power cycle of the Yaskawa P1000 AC Drive by disconnecting all input power for at least 30 seconds before re-energizing.

   Measure incoming AC line voltage at the drive's input terminals (L1, L2, L3) for stability and correct phase sequence, and verify proper protective earth grounding of the drive unit.

   Inspect the drive's cooling fan for obstructions or signs of failure, and verify the ambient temperature inside the control cabinet is within the drive's operational specifications.
