Heatsink Overheat

What does oH1 mean?

The temperature of the drive's heatsink has exceeded its safe operating limit, indicating insufficient cooling. This is another heatsink overheat detection, distinct from oH (0009H) but with the same name.

   Inspect the drive's heatsink fins and internal cooling fan(s) for dust accumulation, debris, or damage.

   Verify that the drive's internal cooling fan(s) are operating and rotating freely when power is applied.

   Measure the ambient air temperature directly surrounding the drive and within the control cabinet, ensuring it falls within the Yaskawa P1000 operating specifications.

   Check the control cabinet's ventilation system (filters, fans, air paths) for proper operation and adequate airflow.

   Monitor the drive's output current (motor current) during operation to identify potential overload conditions that could contribute to excessive heat generation.
