Communication Error
Yaskawa · V1000 AC Drive
What does CE mean?
This fault occurs due to electrical interference causing communication data errors within the control circuit, impacting reliable drive control. The drive detects this error if it fails to receive control data correctly within the detection time set by H5-09. Unresolved communication errors can lead to unpredictable drive behavior and system instability.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Examine control circuit lines, main circuit lines, and ground wiring to identify and reduce the effects of electrical interference.
- 2
Install a Surge Protective Device if magnetic contactors are causing interference, and ensure recommended shielded cables are used, grounding the shield on either the controller or drive input power side.
- 3
Separate communication wiring from drive power lines, and install a noise filter to the input side of the power supply specifically used for communication.
- 4
Address any sources of electrical interference originating from the controller itself, and then perform a Fault Reset to clear the error.
