Run Command Fault
Yaskawa · VS-616G5 Variable Speed Drive
What does EF mean?
This fault indicates an issue with the run command or a conflict in the command source (e.g., local/remote, digital input, serial). It prevents the inverter from starting or continuing operation. This can happen if the run command is unexpectedly lost, or if there's a discrepancy in how the inverter is commanded to run.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Verify the source of the run command (e.g., digital input, serial communication, operator panel) is active and stable.
- 2
Check the wiring for the digital input run command for continuity and proper voltage levels.
- 3
Review inverter parameters related to run command source selection (e.g., H1 settings, A1-03) and ensure consistency.
- 4
If using serial communication, verify the communication link and command structure.
- 5
Test the run/stop buttons on the digital operator to rule out operator panel issues.
