What does InFaulted (Status.1) mean?
The InFault indicator for the statistical instruction's input signal (In) is set, signifying that the input signal itself has an error. When active, the instruction holds its Out value at its current state.
Common Causes
- The InFault boolean input is asserted, typically controlled by a fault status on an analog input module reading the In signal.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Investigate the source of the In signal — measure signal integrity and check connections at the associated analog input module.
- 2
Review the fault status bits on the analog input module itself to diagnose the specific input error.
