F2860

Overcurrent in mains-side power section

Bosch Rexroth · IndraDrive Troubleshooting

What does F2860 mean?

The current in the power transistor bridge has exceeded the maximum allowed device peak current. This results in the immediate de-energization of the drive, causing the motor to coast to a stop. The power supply is switched off due to this excessive current condition.

Common Causes

  • Short circuit in motor or motor cable.
  • Device defective.
  • Current loop parameterized differently (not for HMV01.1R), i.e., parameters do not match motor datasheet.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check motor cable and motor for short circuits.

  2. 2

    Replace the device.

  3. 3

Check current loop parameters to see whether they differ from the parameters on the motor data sheet; correct them if necessary.
