This can occur between motor phases, between a phase and ground, or within the motor winding itself. Such an event poses a significant risk of damage to the inverter's power components and potentially the motor.

• Short circuit within the motor winding.

   Check the connection between the inverter output and the motor for short circuits using a multimeter (phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground resistance).
