The drive's internal components (e.g., power module, heatsink) have exceeded their safe operating temperature limit. This indicates insufficient cooling or an overload, which can lead to reduced lifespan and premature failure of the drive if not corrected.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Inspect the drive cooling fan for operation and clear any dust or debris from fan blades and heatsink fins using compressed air.
2. Measure ambient temperature inside the control cabinet using a calibrated thermometer. Ensure it is within the drive's specified operating range.
3. Verify drive loading by monitoring motor current (P01.06). Reduce load or consider upsizing the drive if consistently operating near or above rated current.
4. Check for proper cabinet ventilation, ensuring intake and exhaust filters are clean and cabinet fans are operational.
5. Confirm sufficient clearance around the drive for proper airflow as per installation guidelines (e.g., typically 100mm top/bottom clearance).
