A problem has been detected with the internal temperature measurement circuit of the drive. This means the drive may be unable to accurately monitor the temperatures of critical components (e.g., IGBTs, power supply board), which could lead to undetected overheating and damage if left unresolved. The auxiliary code provides specific location details of the issue.
Click steps to track your progress.
Power cycle the drive.
Access the drive's diagnostic menu (e.g., P1-30 'Drive Temp', P1-31 'Module Temp') and observe the reported temperature values for plausibility.
Power down the drive and visually inspect the internal temperature sensor's wiring connection to the control board for security and damage.
Measure the resistance of the temperature sensor (e.g., NTC thermistor) if accessible, comparing it to manufacturer specifications at ambient temperature.
If the reported temperature is clearly incorrect and wiring is sound, the control board's temperature measurement circuit or the sensor itself (if replaceable) requires attention or replacement.
