Common Causes

  • MMC card improperly seated or loose in the slot.
  • Faulty MMC card or damaged drive card reader.
  • Vibration or shock causing the card to dislodge.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Ensure the MMC card is correctly and securely inserted into its slot on the drive controller.

  2. 2

Check the MMC card for any physical damage or contamination on its contacts.

  3. 3

If possible, try re-seating the MMC card multiple times or using a known good MMC card to rule out card failure.

  4. 4

Verify the integrity of the MMC card's contents by attempting to read it on a compatible device if available.
