Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual
A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating a critical failure in the SERCOS communication between the master controller and the DDS 2.1 drive. This error can manifest as various issues like MST/MDT failures, invalid communication phase transitions, or address conflicts, leading to a drive shutdown. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect the SERCOS fiber optic cables and connectors for damage, cleanliness, and secure connections.
Verify the SERCOS ring topology and ensure each DDS 2.1 drive has a unique and correct address.
Check the diagnostic indicators on both the master controller and the DDS 2.1 for specific SERCOS status information.
Review and confirm all SERCOS timing parameters (e.g., S-0-0001, S-0-0002, S-0-0003 Minimum AT Transmit Starting Time) are correctly configured in both the master and slave devices.
Command a 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' via the service channel after verifying physical connections and parameters.
