Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual
A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating an issue with the DDS 2.1 drive's internal control voltage supply. This often means that one or more internal low-voltage DC supplies (e.g., 24V, 5V) required for the control electronics are out of tolerance or absent, leading to a drive shutdown. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.
Click steps to track your progress.
Measure the external 24VDC control supply voltage at the drive's input terminals to confirm it is stable and within specification.
Inspect control wiring and connections to the DDS 2.1 for loose terminals, damage, or corrosion.
Disconnect non-essential auxiliary loads powered by the drive's control voltage to check if the error clears.
Check the diagnostic LEDs or display on the DDS 2.1 for more specific indicators of internal power supply issues.
If no external causes are found, internal drive component failure is likely, requiring professional diagnosis or replacement.
