26118

Mains phase failure, KPP/KSP (axis)

KUKA KRC4 · Robot Controller

What does 26118 mean?

Detection of a failure in one or more of the incoming mains phases supplied to the KPP/KSP axis drive in the KUKA KR C4/KR C4 CK controller. This can lead to an imbalanced power supply to the drive or complete loss of power for the affected module.

Common Causes

  • Disconnected, damaged, or poorly terminated power lead to the KPP module.
  • Faulty internal cabling or connections within the KPP power section.
  • Loss of one or more phases in the incoming AC mains supply to the KR C4/KR C4 CK controller.
  • Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse upstream of the KPP module.
  • Internal fault within the KPP module affecting its ability to detect incoming phases.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Inspect the incoming power lead to the KPP module for secure connections, any signs of damage, or disconnections at both the source and the KPP.

  2. 2

Verify the KPP internal power cabling and connections for proper installation and integrity.

  3. 3

Measure the incoming three-phase AC mains voltage at the KPP input terminals to confirm all phases are present and within specified voltage tolerances.

  4. 4

Check upstream circuit breakers and fuses for the KR C4/KR C4 CK controller's power supply; reset or replace as necessary.

  5. 5

Perform a power cycle (Power Off / Power On) of the KR C4/KR C4 CK controller to reinitialize the drive bus.

  6. 6

Inspect the KPP module for any visible damage or warning indicators.
