A communication error has occurred on CAN-IN1 during synchronous control, indicating that faulty data is being received or the communication itself is interrupted. This can be caused by loose bus module connections or issues with the transmitting device. Loss of synchronous communication can lead to unsynchronized operation or system shutdown.
Click steps to track your progress.
Verify the CAN-IN1 communication module is securely seated in its slot on the drive controller.
Inspect the CAN-IN1 bus cable for physical damage, especially at connectors and strain relief points.
Measure the resistance across the CAN_H and CAN_L lines at the network's physical ends; it should be approximately 60 Ohms (two 120 Ohm terminators in parallel).
Confirm CAN-IN1 communication parameters, including baud rate (P8-01) and node ID (P8-02), are correctly set for all devices in the synchronous network.
Check for proper shielding and grounding of the CAN-IN1 bus cable, ensuring it is separated from high-voltage power cables.
