The controller has experienced an overload condition during acceleration, possibly due to an acceleration time (C0012) that is too short, an improperly dimensioned drive, or issues with the motor/cabling like a defective motor cable or interturn fault. Persistent overloading can lead to drive component degradation and premature failure.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Increase the acceleration time by adjusting Parameter C0012 (e.g., from 3.0s to 5.0s) to reduce acceleration current.
2. Monitor the actual motor current (e.g., via display parameter C0004) during acceleration and compare it against the drive's nominal output current.
3. Verify that the drive's nominal current rating matches or exceeds the continuous and peak current requirements of the application.
4. Check for any mechanical binding or excessive friction in the driven machinery that could increase acceleration load.
5. Verify that motor data parameters (P0-01 to P0-05) are accurately entered for the connected motor.
