Parameter set 4 within the controller has become defective, likely due to an interrupted or faulty transfer from the keypad. This indicates a corruption in a specific configuration set, which can prevent proper drive operation when that set is active. Operating with corrupted parameters can lead to unpredictable behavior.
Click steps to track your progress.
Confirm that the power supply to the controller is within specified limits and free of sags/surges (e.g., measure with a true RMS multimeter).
Re-download a validated backup of parameter set 4 from the engineering workstation or an SD card.
Ensure the programming device (keypad/PC) remains connected and powered throughout the entire parameter transfer process.
Perform a factory default reset on the controller (e.g., set Parameter F00 = 0) and then re-enter the settings for parameter set 4.
Check for any loose internal connectors or visible damage on the controller's main PCB, especially near memory components.
