Omron · MX2 Inverter
This warning occurs if the frequency set for Multi-step speed reference 0 (A020) or the output frequency setting (F001) is higher than the configured frequency upper limit (A061). This creates a logical conflict in the drive's speed constraints, as a programmed speed is above the allowed maximum.
Click steps to track your progress.
Access parameter A020 (Multi-step Speed Reference 0) and A061 (Frequency Upper Limit). Compare their values.
Adjust A020 (Multi-step Speed Reference 0) to be less than or equal to A061 (Frequency Upper Limit).
Alternatively, if the application requires A020 to be higher, increase A061 (Frequency Upper Limit) to be equal to or greater than A020, ensuring A061 does not exceed A004 (Inverter Max Frequency).
If F001 (Output Frequency) is causing the issue, verify the scaling of any external analog frequency references (e.g., 0-10VDC input to terminals X2-1/X2-2) and ensure the source is stable and within expected range.
Save the parameter changes and power cycle the drive to confirm the settings are active.
