2nd Multi-step Speed Reference 0 Conflicts with Jump Frequency

What does 285 mean?

For the second motor settings, this warning indicates that the 2nd Multi-step speed reference 0 (A220) or output frequency (F001) is set to a value that falls within one of the defined 'jump frequencies' (A063/A065/A067) with its associated width (A064/A066/A068). Operating at such a speed can lead to mechanical resonance or unstable operation for the second motor at that frequency.

Common Causes

  • Parameter A220 (2nd Multi-step speed reference 0) is set to a value that falls within a configured jump frequency band (e.g., d011-d014 or similar).
  • The current output frequency (F001) is attempting to operate within a forbidden jump frequency range, which is typically used to avoid mechanical resonance.
  • An application-defined speed reference (A220) has been configured without considering the existing jump frequency settings (e.g., d011, d012).
