Omron · MX2 Inverter
This fault indicates a malfunction within the inverter's internal current detection system, which is crucial for accurate motor control and protection. When this error occurs, the inverter immediately shuts off its output to prevent uncontrolled operation or damage.
Click steps to track your progress.
Cycle the inverter's main power supply off for 5 minutes, then back on to attempt a reset of internal diagnostics.
Perform a no-load run test with the motor disconnected from the output terminals U, V, W to check current sensor readings (d0-03) at zero output.
Inspect internal control boards for any visible damage, burnt components, or loose ribbon cable connections.
Verify that all motor identification parameters (e.g., P1-02, P1-03, P1-04) are correctly set, as inaccurate settings can sometimes confuse current detection algorithms.
If the fault persists after basic troubleshooting, the inverter's main control board or power board may require replacement.
