SEW Eurodrive · Drives
The motor current has exceeded the configured current limit for a sustained period of more than 500 ms. This fault specifically occurs only when additional function 2 is active, indicating a persistent overload condition.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect the mechanical system for any binding, excessive friction, or obstructions that could cause a persistent motor overload.
Verify all drive parameters, including motor nameplate data, configured current limits, and settings related to 'additional function 2', against the application requirements and motor specifications.
Inspect the motor power cable for any damage, proper shielding, and ensure all electrical connections at both the drive and motor terminals are secure and free from corrosion.
Monitor the actual output current values displayed in the drive's diagnostic interface and compare them against the motor's nominal current and the drive's configured current limit prior to fault activation.
Verify the input supply voltage at the main power terminals of the drive is within the specified operating range.
