The drive-based 'Safety Integrated' function in the Control Unit requires an acceptance test. This can be due to missing safety parameters for the Motor Module, checksum mismatches on the CU or MM, differing safety function enables, parameter changes, project downloads, hardware-related safety checksum changes, or subsequent safety-related faults during booting. This fault results in a STOP A that can be acknowledged.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Access the drive's Safety Integrated menu and verify all required safety parameters (e.g., P9500-P9600) are correctly set according to the safety program.
2. Execute the Acceptance Test function in the drive's safety menu, following on-screen prompts or specific sequence (e.g., via STARTER/TIA Portal).
3. Confirm parameter P9501 (Safety Acceptance Test) is set to 1 to acknowledge the successful test completion and store parameters.
4. If a checksum mismatch is suspected, re-download the safety-relevant parameters from the engineering tool (e.g., TIA Portal) to the drive.
5. Document the acceptance test date and results in the machine's safety manual, as required for compliance.
