Identification fault

Vacon · 20 Compact

What does 57 mean?

The motor identification run procedure has failed to complete successfully. Common reasons include the run command being removed before the identification process finished, the motor not being properly connected to the frequency converter, or a mechanical load being present on the motor shaft during the run.

Common Causes

  • The drive failed to identify connected motor parameters correctly.
  • Motor nameplate data is not recognized or is outside acceptable range.
  • During auto-tuning, an error occurred in identifying motor characteristics.
  • Mismatch between configured motor type and actual motor connected.
