Analogue Input Current Low

Vacon · NX Liquid-Cooled Drive

What does 50 mean?

The current at the analogue input, which is configured for a 4 to 20mA signal range, has dropped below 4mA. This fault is commonly caused by a broken or loose control cable in the current loop or a failure of the signal source providing the analogue input.

Common Causes

  • Analogue input current reading is below the configured minimum (P0822).
  • Faulty current sensor or transducer.
  • Open circuit in the current input loop.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the entire current loop circuitry, including the analogue signal source, control cabling, and connections at the analogue input terminal, for breaks or loose wires.

  2. 2

Measure the current output from the analogue signal source to confirm it is providing at least 4mA.
