What does 38 mean?

An option board has been added to the drive. Subcodes S1, S4, S5 specify the added component: Control board, Control unit, or Adapter board/slot.

• New device of the same type detected on the network.
• Device added to an existing network configuration.
• Automatic device detection found an unexpected unit.
• Initialization of a newly connected device.
