DIP

Duplicate IP address

Mitsubishi Electric · Mitsubishi FR-E800 Variable Frequency Drive

¿Qué significa DIP ?

This warning appears when the inverter detects that its assigned IP address is already in use by another device on the network. This conflict prevents proper network communication and can cause system instability.

Causas comunes

  • Manual assignment of a static IP address to the inverter that is already in use by another device (e.g., PLC, HMI).
  • DHCP server incorrectly assigning the same IP address to multiple devices.
  • Device on the network with a misconfigured IP address (e.g., set to the inverter's IP by mistake).
  • Failure of the inverter or another device to properly release a previous IP address.

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify the inverter's assigned IP address (Pr.1409) against the network's IP address scheme and other connected devices using a network scanner or 'arp -a' command.

  2. 2

Temporarily set the inverter's IP address (Pr.1409) to a known unused IP address within the subnet.

  3. 3

If using DHCP, ensure the DHCP server is configured correctly and check its lease table for duplicate assignments.

  4. 4

Disconnect suspected duplicate devices one by one from the network to identify the conflicting device.

  5. 5

Cycle power on the inverter and the suspected conflicting device to force them to re-negotiate or release IP addresses.
