CPU Error
Omron · MX2 Inverter
¿Qué significa E11 ?
This critical fault indicates a malfunction within the inverter's central processing unit (CPU). A CPU error implies a severe internal hardware or software issue, rendering the inverter unable to perform its control functions and resulting in an immediate trip and shutdown of the motor output.
Causas comunes
- Internal CPU hardware failure due to over-voltage, temperature stress, or manufacturing defect.
- Firmware corruption or bug in the inverter's operating system, preventing proper CPU execution.
- Severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) or transient voltage spikes affecting the CPU's operation.
- Malfunction of the watchdog timer circuit, which is designed to reset the CPU in case of a software hang.
- Failure of external memory (RAM, Flash) or peripheral components critical for CPU operation.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Cycle the inverter's main power supply off for 5 minutes, then back on to attempt a full hardware and software reset.
- 2
Inspect the inverter's control board for any visible damage, burnt components, or loose connectors.
- 3
Measure the control power supply voltage (e.g., at terminals +24V, CM) using a multimeter to confirm stability and correct level.
- 4
Ensure proper grounding of the inverter chassis and shielding of control wiring to mitigate EMI.
- 5
If the error persists, the inverter likely requires replacement of the control board or the entire unit due to a critical internal hardware fault.
