SP0010

Low Power Supply Input Voltage

Fanuc · AC Spindle Motor Alpha i-Beta i Series Parameters

What does SP0010 mean?

The input voltage to the low-power supply section of the spindle amplifier is below the acceptable threshold. This can cause unstable operation or prevent the amplifier from powering on.

Common Causes

  • Low input AC voltage to the spindle amplifier.
  • Failure of the amplifier's internal low-voltage power supply circuitry.
  • Loose connections on the low-voltage power input terminals.
  • Faulty control transformer supplying the amplifier's auxiliary power.
  • Overload on the low-voltage control circuits.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the input AC voltage at the amplifier's L1, L2, L3 terminals.

  2. 2

Verify the output voltage of the amplifier's internal low-voltage rails (e.g., 24VDC).

  3. 3

Inspect low-voltage power connector for proper seating and corrosion.

  4. 4

Check the primary and secondary voltages of the control transformer.

  5. 5

Monitor the low-voltage supply during amplifier operation for dips.
