Gateway Charger/Registration Mismatch
Fronius · Perfect Charging
What does 103 mean?
The gateway device is online but either does not detect a charger, or a different charger is registered than the one attempting to connect. This prevents the current charger from utilizing the gateway's services for data transmission or remote control.
Common Causes
- The specific charger is not correctly registered or authorized with the gateway system.
- Multiple chargers are attempting to connect to a gateway configured for a single charger connection.
- A configuration error on the gateway regarding the allowed or associated charger identifiers.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Verify the registration status and unique identifier of the charger with the gateway's configuration.
- 2
Check the gateway's configuration to ensure it supports the number of connected chargers and that the current charger's ID is recognized.
- 3
Ensure the charger's unique identifier (e.g., serial number, configured ID) matches what is configured in the gateway's system.
